Megan Egilson
Megan is working exclusively in Gibsons. NOTE: Megan is not taking ICBC patients at this time. Megan is a Registered Massage Therapist practicing exclusively at the Gibsons location of One Branch Therapeutic Wellness. She graduated with distinction from the highly regarded Camosun College Massage Therapy program, where she built a strong foundation in anatomy, clinical assessment, and therapeutic technique. Megan brings a compassionate and personalized approach to her work, ensuring that each treatment responds to the unique goals and presentation of the client in front of her. Megan’s philosophy of care is rooted in individualized treatment plans that recognize the whole person — not just a symptom. She integrates a diverse set of evidence-based modalities, including myofascial techniques, trigger point release, and Swedish massage, tailoring each session to support pain reduction, muscle balance, improved circulation, and overall relaxation. These techniques are widely used within therapeutic massage to address both acute and chronic musculoskeletal concerns and to help clients move toward greater comfort and function. Living and working on the Sunshine Coast means serving a community that places a high value on active, outdoor lifestyles, connection, and overall well-being. With a median age above the provincial average and many residents managing the physical demands of daily life - whether from outdoor activity, chronic conditions, or long‑term work strain - Megan’s emphasis on thoughtful, hands‑on care resonates with local clients seeking meaningful support for their bodies. Megan’s sessions are designed to be both soothing and effective. She listens closely to client concerns, integrates clinical reasoning with practical technique, and is committed to creating an environment where people feel respected, safe, and cared for. She also prioritizes client education, helping individuals understand how self‑care, movement, and awareness can support their progress between visits. Outside of practice, Megan enjoys running, walking her dog, and expressing her creativity through baking and crafts — interests that reflect her balanced and grounded approach to health and life. Please note: Megan is not accepting ICBC patients at this time.
